Daniel Lammon was a very quiet and lovable redheaded man. Though he had a very slender string bean-type build, he was a very strong man. He was like a helper to our grandfather [John Lammon]. As twins, they went everywhere together. They would go together to the woods to get materials for woodworking. Daniel never married; he lived with grandfather all his life.
