  Note and info from daughters Sara and Alyce: Wade Henderson Marlow was born and raised in Newton, N.C. He had one brother and three sisters. His father was a house painter and his mother a housewife. Wade and A Z met and married in 1932. They lived in Manatee, Florida, at the time. Work was hard to find due to the depression. He worked for the Seaboard Railroad and stayed with the railroad until he developed heart trouble and retired. The family moved frequently from central to south Florida as the railroad transferred them. Wade and AZ had two girls. Sara Marlow was born in Bushnell, Florida, and Alyce Marlow was born in Manatee, Florida. Wade enjoyed people. He also liked to travel and visit family in North Carolina. He liked to dress nice and always wore a hat. He died at age 53, not living to see his 5 grandchildren.
