Robert was born July 25, 1941 in Bainbridge, GA. Robert graduated from Valdosta High School in 1959. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Marie. Sons, Rob Byrd of Birmingham, David(Collette) Byrd of Auburn. Grandson, Kendall Ogletree of Auburn. Brothers James Byrd (Vickie) of Lake Park,GA and Jerry Byrd of Valdosta,GA. .
