    • JOSEPH HICKS OBITUARY
      HICKS Joseph Douglas Hicks, Sr., 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Mr. Hicks was a native of Dothan, Alabama and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a retired State Farm Insurance Agent having retired in 1996. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, “ Bea” Burnett Hicks and is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karla and David Hobbing; 2 sons, Doug and Rick Hicks; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Camille and Bert Hanwell and Peggy Revis : a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Joan Burnett and 3 grandchildren, Nick, Maddison and Mallory Hobbing. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Church of the Messiah, 8057 Arlington Expressway. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Burnett, Tom Burnett, Tim Burnett, Joe Puskas, Dan Pelletier and Hank Groff.
