    • "A housewife, as all were in those days, devoted to her family. From childhood through high school we lived in the same neighborhood where I visited her several times each week. As a young child I would go with her to visit her sister (Ella Tew Miller) for a week during the summer. This farm was located near Malvern, Alabama between Dothan and Slocomb."
